Well you can tell, that I enjoy Physics, did you notice all those various little images of various galaxies and nebula around the site?
Here in these pages you will be able to access various exams, class notes, worksheets related to this subject. Sometimes it is quite difficult to see how I can sort the notes in a logical matter and at the same time make them follow in a logical manner.
Physics Exams
Normally at the end of Year 12 Australian Students have their official VCE exams , which on the basis of their results determines their entry into Univerity courses.
Looking over the various exams you will notice that the course keeps changing every so slightly every 3 to 4 years. They call it spicing it up, or they are trying to keep teachers on the edge?
Who are ones that keep changing the course? The Board of Studies
Anyhow, the point is that every few years different topics get introduced into the study of Physics particularly at Year 12, and this filters down into Year 11 also.
Why am I mentioning this? It is simply that it makes it difficult to have topics that belong exclusively in Year 12, and that is the reason you will find that eventually I will have most of the older topics appearing in the section on Physics Topics
Physics Videos and Animations
Eventually I hope to be able to run and provide download links to interesting videos that can be used as classrooms tools or self learning guides. However this will a project that I will get around to in the near future.
Physics Exams
As mentioned previously , you will find most of the official VCE exams given to students during the last few years, especially given to Year 12 students. From time to time I might also include other exams non official, so that students might hone their exam taking skills.
It is important to spend time doing the exams. Of course to begin with, it is important to look at the language used in the question and examine carefully what is the question really asking and then using the most appropriate formula to tackle the solution.
In Physics , just like maths there are many different ways of solving questions , but normally there is a straight forward method that most students tend to follow.
